Burnworth, 76, Confluence RD 1, died March 22, 1996 at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1920 in Henry Clay Township, a son of the late Charles O. and Nellie (Butler) Burnworth. Survived by his wife, the former Helen Lee; a daughter, Donna Meyers, Youngwood; a son, Thomas W. of Confluence; three granddaughters, Alisa Stairs, Erin and Erika Burnworth; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis; a twin brother, Carl of Farmington; and two sisters, Frances Silbaugh, Confluence and Wilma Ream, Pleasant Gap. Predeceased by three brothers, three sisters and a foster sister. U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. Retired farmer and employee of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m., today; and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday. Rev. David Lee and the Rev.
