  BURT
  
    William L. Burt, 61, of Hagerstown, Md., formerly of Rockville,
  Md., and Meyersdale, died Dec. 14, 1999, at Washington County
  Hospital, Hagerstown.  Born Jan. 16, 1938, in Meyersdale, a son of
  the late Oscar L. and Rhea (Hornig) Burt.  Also preceded in death by
  a sister, Betty Lois, and brother, Daniel L. Burt.  Survived by his
  wife, the former Mary K. Hutzell, and four children:  Jeffry Burt and
  his wife Veronica, Warrensburg, Mo.; Felicia James, Solver Spring,
  Md.; Renee, wife of Steve Bradford, and Thomas Burt, both of
  Hagerstown.  Also 11 grandchildren.  A brother of Emelie L. Slack,
  Keedysville, Md.; and Harold L. Burt, Meyersdale.  A graduate of
  Meyersdale High School Class of 1955.  Served in the U.S. Navy from
  1956-1964.  Retired from National Institutes of Health, Bethesda,
  Md., in 1998.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be
  conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Robert Stahl officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.  In lieu of flowers, donations
  may be made to the American Cancer Society.
