  BURWELL
  
  Dr. James M. Burwell, 87, Somerset RD 3, died July 22, 1981, in his
  residence.  Born Oct. 10, 1893, in Washington, D.C., son of Henry and
  Emma (Stewart) Burwell.  Survived by his wife, Otie (Greenly)
  Burwell.  He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental
  School and also graduated in 1921 from the College of Physicians and
  Surgeons Dental School in Washington, D.C.  He practiced dentistry in
  Pittsburgh until 1944 when he came to Somerset County where he
  practiced until 1968 when he went blind.  Friends will be received
  after 7 p.m. Thursday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where
  brief services will be conducted at 9 p.m. by the Rev. C. J. Ickes. 
  Interment, Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Baltimore, Md.
