Bush, 85, Meyersdale, formerly of Garrett, died April 28, 2006, at Beverly Healthcare Meyersdale. Born Nov. 14, 1920, in Summit Township, a daughter of the late Washington and Ida (Shumate) Bockes. Also pre-ceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Bush; and two sisters, Eliza M. Bockes and Erma Wagner. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law. A member of the Mount Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and member of the choir for more than 50 years. A former member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Ridgeview and Highland Cemetery Associations. Past judge of election in Garrett, and past president of the Garrett Chamber of Commerce. A former Local Registrar of Pa. Vital Statistics, and worked as a nurses aide and private duty nurse. A member of the Voters Hall of Fame. Friends will be received 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where a service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Glenn P. Foster officiating.
