Bush, 67, of Garrett died Dec. 15, 1983, Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1916, in Hyndman, a son of the late Reggie and Ruth (Coughenour) Bush. Survived by his wife, the former Pauline Bockes, and these brothers and sisters: Darrell of Washington, D.C.; Homer, of Baden; Donald and Edna Lenhart, both of York; Wayne of Berlin; Orpha Horning, West Middlesex; Ruth Keller of Kent, Ohio; Betty Fogle of Navarre, Ohio; Elaine Heinbaugh, Rockwood; Lillian Fuller of Meyersdale; Leona Gray and Evelyn Drenner, both of Garrett; also a number of nieces and nephews. He was employed by PennDOT for 10 years. He was a member of: Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett; the Garrett Volunteer Fire Department; VFW Post 3504; American Legion Post 112, Garrett; Garrett Senior Citizens. Also a member and past commander of the Norman Yutzy Post 861; past president of the Garrett Chamber of Commerce; and a former member of the Garrett Borough Council. A veteran of World War II, he was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge and received the Purple Heart. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services were conducted with Clarence Anderson officiating. Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
