Bushwack, 78, Central City, died April 29, 2004, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital. Born Jan. 12, 1926, in Akron, Ohio, son of the late John Peter and Lucinda (Richardson) Bushwack. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Brandon. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna M. Hutchinson Bushwack; children: John Robert Bushwack and his wife, Caroline, Loganville, Ga., Harry Andrew Bushwack, Johnstown, Ohio, and Luann Bushwack, Lewisville, Texas; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Amanda, Michael, Melissa, Jonathan and Courtney; great-grandchild, Wyatt and sister, Betty Hamilton, Dayton, Ohio. Prior to retirement he was Senior Regional Engineer for Union Carbide Linde Division. Member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Windber; VFW and American Legion. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, serving on the USS Pennsylvania. Friends received from 2 to 4 Sunday at the Frederick Funeral Home Inc., where Parastas service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Panachida service will be held 11:45 a.m. Monday followed by a Divine Liturgy at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Bradenville. The Rev. Father Daniel Loya officiating.
