  DOROTHEA LAVINIA "DOTTIE" BUTERBAUGH
  
  Dorothea Lavinia "Dottie" Buterbaugh, 96, of Millersville, formerly of
  Somerset, died Jan. 2, 2004, at Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lancaster.
  Born March 2, 1907, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Charles Albert and Hannah
  Lavinia (John) Hutchinson.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Rev. Henry
  Carl Buterbaugh, who died Dec. 6, 1986; daughter Grace E. Buterbaugh, son Dr.
  Joseph A. Buterbaugh, and brother Joseph Elias Hutchinson.  Survived by
  children Dr. John C. Buterbaugh of Las Vegas, Nev.; Wesley J. Buterbaugh of
  Cranberry Township, Mrs. David T. (Helen L.) Griffith of Millersville; eight
  grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  A 1925 graduate of Schenley
  High School, 1927 graduate of Pittsburgh Teachers Training School.  Member of
  Calvary United Methodist Church in Somerset.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.  A service
  will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tues. at Calvary United Methodist Church,
  Somerset with Rev. Neil Rodgers, Rev. Raymond E. Lyon and Mr. Thomas Funka
  officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be
  given to the Somerset County Blind Center, 748 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa.
