Jean Buterbaugh, 74 of Thompson, OH, passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, OH. She was born January 15, 1934 in Meyersdale, daughter of Gladys (Maust) and Carl Grew. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ruby Horchler. She is survived by husband, William M. Buterbaugh; three sons: Gary (Connie) Buterbaugh, Austinburg, OH; Tim (Shawn) Buterbaugh, Meyersdale; Scott (Mikki) Buterbaugh, Thompson, OH; daughter, Amy Buterbaugh, Euclid, OH. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers: Jim (Betty Lou) Grew, Winchester, VA and Robert (Hope) Grew, Meyersdale; and sister, Ruth Ann Imhoff, Meyersdale. Mrs. Buterbaugh married William M. Buterbaugh on October 18, 1953 in Meyersdale. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed oil painting and crafts. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Thompson United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was active with the Women's Society Friends were received February 25, 2008 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. Funeral service was held February 26, 2008 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Rev. Harley Wheeler and Rev. Robert Mathias officiated. Final resting place is at Maple Grove Cemetery, Thompson.
