  BUTLER
  
  Alton S. Butler, 81, of Meyersdale, died Dec. 28, 2003 at Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  Born April 2, 1922 in Grantsville, Md., a son of the
  late John and Savilla (Bittinger) Butler.  Also preceded in death by
  wife, Velma (Baker) Butler; daughter Dorothy, and a number of
  brothers and sisters.  Survived by these children, Kenneth Butler and
  Dixie Lee Frenzel, both of Frostburg, and Darlene McKenzie of
  Meyersdale; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 
  Brother of Evelyn Bartholovisk of Carmichaels and Elma Durst of
  Meyersdale.  He is a retired employee of Coddington Lumber Company. 
  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Leckemby
  Funeral Home.
