  BARBARA ELLEN BUTLER
  June 4, 1926-June 11, 2003
  
    Barbara Ellen Butler, 77, of Grantsville, MD., died June 11, 2003,
  at Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, Md.
    Born June 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and
  Miriam (House) Durst.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete
  Butler and two brothers, Elmer and Blaine Durst.
    She is survived by one son, Wayne Butler and one daughter, Leona
  Niner, both of Grantsville, Md.; two brothers, Calvin Durst,
  Grantsville, Md. and Wilmer Durst, Cleveland, Oh.; one sister, Martha
  Winters, Salisbury; one granddaughter, Roxanne Niner; and numerous
  nieces and nephews.
    Mrs. Butler was a homemaker and a member of the Laughlin Church of
  the Brethren, Grantsville, the Senior Citizens and Summit Travel Club.
    A memorial service was held at the Newman Funeral Home in
  Grantsville on June 15 with Rev. Tim Fetterly officiating.  Interment
  Laughlin Church Cemetery.
