ELIZA ELLEN BUTLER

  Mrs. Eliza Ellen Butler, 77, widow of Gideon McCleland Butler, died at her 
home near Grantsville, Friday, April 5.  Funeral services were held at Oak Grove 
Mennonite Church, Sunday afternoon.  Rev. M. B. Miller and Rev. Ross Speicher 
officiated.  Interment in the church cemetery near by.
  Mrs. Butler was a daughter of the late Jonas J. and Susanna Shultz Folk, and 
was born near Jennings, Md., July 19, 1868.  Surviving children are Jonas 
Butler, Jennings; Howard Butler, and Mrs. Charles Gardner, Salisbury, and a 
number of grandchildren.  Surviving sisters are Mrs. M. M. Ward and Mrs. Ellen 
McKenzie, Frostburg; Mrs. Ida Kenner, Westernport and brothers, Simon Folk, 
Chicago, Ill., and Edward Folk, Frostburg.
