  MRS. ELSIE C. BUTLER
  
    Mrs. Elsie Clara Butler, 63, Listonburg RD, died Oct. 21 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born in Grantsville, Dec. 17, 1903, she was a daughter of the late
  Charles and Anna Jane (Durst) Platter.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Butler.
    Surviving are 13 children: Ralph, Stewart, Charles, Jack and Alvie
  Butler, all of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Florence Rugg, Mrs. Shirley Beitzel
  and Mrs. Dorothy Hutzell, all of Grantsville; James, Cambria Springs;
  Glenn, Meyersdale; Leona of Addison; Mrs. Freda Edmonson, Lorain,
  Ohio; and Roy of Listonburg.
    She was a sister of Orvis Platter, Fort Hill; Elroy, Frostburg; Joe
  Platter, Springs; Irvin Platter and Mrs. Lettie Durst, Grantsville.
    Funeral service was held in Maple Glen Church on Tuesday afternoon
  with Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.  Interment was made in the
  church cemetery.
