  FREEMAN BUTLER
  
    Freeman Butler, 68, Listonburg, died July 23, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    Born March 30, 1898 In Garrett County, Md., he was a son of Samson
  and Anna Virginia (Bittinger) Butler.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Elsie Platter and these
  children:  Ralph, Stewart, Charles and Jack Butler, all of
  Pittsburgh; Mrs. Florence Rugg and Mrs. Dorothy Hutzell of
  Grantsville, Md.; James and Alvie Butler, Cambridge Springs, Pa.;
  Leona, Shirley and Roy Butler of Listonburg; Glenn Butler, Valencia,
  Pa., Mrs. Freda Edmondson of Loraine, Ohio.
    Also surviving are a brother and two sisters:  Ezra Butler,
  Markleysburg; Mrs. Ida Bishop, Albright, W. Va. and Mrs. Lydia Frey
  of Bruceton Mills, W. Va.
    Service was conducted at Maple Glen Church July 26 with Rev. Daniel
  Whitacre officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.
