Born Sept. 4, 1936 in Listonburg, she is the daughter of the late Freeman and Elsie Clara (Platter) Butler. Also preceded in death by one sister, Florence Rugg and three brothers, Stewart, Charles and Hugh. Survived by six brothers: Ralph and Glenn, both of Fort Hill, Jim of Cambridge, Jack of Butler, Alvie of Fort Myers, Fla.; Roy of Ralls Church, Va.; three sisters, Fred Edmonson, Lorain, Ohio; Shirley Beitzel and Jean Hutzel, both of Grantsville, Md.; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was a member of Maple Glen Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received on Monday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev.
