  WERNER-BUTLER, Mary L.
  
  Mary L. Werner-Butler, 72, Somerset, died Sept. 2, 2008, at Siemon's Lakeview 
  Manor, Somerset. Born Sept. 23, 1935, in Benson, Md., a daughter of the late 
  Albert and Hazel (Bittner) Arnold. Also preceded in death by her first husband, 
  Clyde Werner Sr.; and her second husband, Byard Butler. Survived by six 
  children, Charlene Wright, New Centerville; Brenda Snyder, Rockwood; Marjorie 
  Bird, Somerset; Richard Bird, Somerset; Jennifer Werner, Somerset; and Clyde 
  Werner Jr., Hooversville; two stepdaughters, Debra Nelson and Valarie Wright. 
  Also 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five step grandchildren. 
  Mary was the former manager of the Meyersdale Senior Center for eight years. She 
  enjoyed her work and valued helping the elderly. Friends will be received from 2 
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where 
  service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Mark Bendes 
  officiating. Interment Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements by the William Rowe 
  Price Funeral Home Inc., Meyersdale.
