Butler, 72, died Saturday, July 26, 1986 at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Grantsville, Md., on March 30, 1914; she was the daughter of the late John Amos Butler and Savilla (Bittinger) Butler. She was a homemaker; a member of Oak Grove Mennonite Church; Casselman Valley Sportsman Club; Grantsville Fire Auxiliary; a watchman for WOW Allcamp 41; and Oak Grove Ladies Aide. She is survived by her husband, Harold Butler; a son, Tommy Butler, Cumberland, Md.; three daughters: Mrs. Loretta Miller, Canton, Ohio; Mrs. Delores Kern, Alexandria, Va.; and Mrs. Pamela A. Harding, Frederick, Md.; two brothers, Alton Butler and John W. Butler; both of Grantsville, Md.; four sisters: Mrs. Elma Durst and Mrs. Lottie Methias of Meyersdale; Mrs. Pearl Show and Mrs. Evelyn Hudachek of Brownsville; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, where services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Mennonite Church by the Rev. Earl Yoder. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
