  BUTLER
  
    Nellie C. Butler, 80, of Meyersdale, died July 8, 1996, at
  Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born June 3, 1916, in Oakland, Md., a
  daughter of the late George Doll and Mary (Poe) Purnell.  Survived by
  her husband of 51 years, Byard F. Butler.  Also survived by 4
  nieces:  Gloria Mae Lee, Albuquerque, N.M.; Peggy Purnell, Denver,
  Colo.; Mary Ruth Dancer, Houston, Tex., and Barbara Church,
  Baltimore, Md.  A member of the Methodist Church, Mountain Lake Park,
  Md.  Retired from Meyersdale Manufacturing with 31 years of service. 
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Albert
  Valentine officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery Meyersdale.
