  NORA E. BUTLER
  
    Nora Ellen Butler, 98, of Grantsville RD 1, Md., died Friday, Nov.
  22, 1985, at Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born in Grantsville, May 9, 1887, she was a daughter of the late
  Michael Durst and Catherine (Spiker) Durst.  She was preceded in
  death by her husband, Benjamin Butler.
    She was a member of the Laughlin Church of the Brethren.
    Surviving are two sons, Pete Butler, Grantsville; and Byard Fay
  Butler, Meyersdale; a daughter, Mrs. Goldie Beachy, Grantsville; 13
  grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Services were conducted in the Newman Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m.
  by the Rev. Earl Yoder.  Interment, Durst cemetery.
