  BUTLER
  
  Permelia E. Butler, 75, of Ridgeley, W.Va., formerly of LaVale, Md.,
  died Oct. 25, 1988, at the Dawn View Manor, Fort Ashby, W.Va.  Born
  Dec. 1, 1912, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late John A. and
  Emily (Whaley) Hyatt.  Preceded in death by husband, Ray F. 
  Surviving are two daughters:  Emily L. Shaffer of Ridgeley, W.Va.;
  and Margaret J. Huff of Mt. Savage, Md.; also three sons:  Raymond
  A., Gulfport, Miss.; Franklin L., Sterling, Va.; and Roy E.,
  Martinsburg, W.Va.; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. 
  Member of the Cumberland Chapter O.E.S. and the Church of Jesus
  Christ of Latter Day Saints, LaVale, Md.  Friends will be received
  7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. with Bishop Charles Bruerton
  officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
