  PETE BUTLER
  
    Pete Butler, 74, of Grantsville RD 1, Md., died Monday, March 6,
  1989, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born May 27, 1914, in Grantsville, Md., he was the son of the late
  Benjamin and Nora Ellen (Durst) Butler.
    He was a retired maintenance man for Harbison and Walker
  Refractories.
    Surviving are his widow, Barbara E. (Durst) Butler; one son Wayne
  J. Butler, Grantsville, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Niner,
  Grantsville, Md.; one brother, Byard Butler, Meyersdale; one sister,
  Mrs. Goldie Beachy, Grantsville, Md.; and one granddaughter.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville,
  where services were conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Joseph
  Lewis.  Interment, Durst Cemetery.
