  BUTLER
  
  Ray S. Butler, 70, Sterling, Va., died Saturday, July 14, in Fairfax
  Hospital, Falls Church, Va.  Born Sept. 6, 1908, in Fayette County,
  son of the late Charles and Leonora (Miller) Butler.  Survived by
  wife, the former Permelia Ellen Hyatt, and the following children: 
  Mrs. Emily L. Shaffer, Rigley, Va.; Raymond A. and Franklin L.,
  Sterling, Va.; Roy E., Martinsburg, W.Va.; and Mrs. Margaret J. Huff,
  Mount Savage, Md.; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; these
  brothers and sisters:  Harry Butler, Fort Hill; Mrs. Mildred Close,
  Confluence; Mrs. Dorothy Fisher, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Betty Petruna,
  McKees Rocks; Mrs. Jean Shipley, Confluence; and Mrs. Ethel Thomas,
  Philadelphia.  Member Potomac Masonic Lodge Number 100, Cumberland,
  Md.; 32nd Degree Scottish Rite; and a member of Ali Ghan Shrine
  Temple, Cumberland, Md.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m.
  Tuesday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be
  held 11 a.m. Wednesday.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.  In lieu of
  flowers, a memorial gift may be given to the Cancer Society.
