RAYMOND BUTLER

  A reburial service for Pvt. Raymond Butler, 24, son of Alonzo and Irene 
Butler, will take place on Thursday, December 30, at 2:00 p.m. at the Winterburg 
Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. D. J. Combs, pastor of the Grantsville 
Methodist Church, officiating.
  Full military honors at the grave in the New Germany cemetery were accorded by 
Grantsville Post 214 American Legion under Commander Wayne Durst.  
  Born May 18, 1920 in Garrett County, Pvt. Butler entered the Army on August 
14, 1942.
  Surviving besides his parents are three brothers and five sisters.
