  BYRD
  
    Louise E. Byrd, 78, Confluence RD 1, died Dec. 2, 1996 at Somerset
  Hospital. Born March 22, 1918 in Confluence, a daughter of the late
  William W. and Lola P. (Kreger) Colburn. Preceded in death by her
  husband, James W.  and a sister, Miriam Rodahaver.  Survived by a
  son, Gordon C., married to the former Rebecca (Flick), Confluence;
  two grandsons: Scott A. Byrd and his wife, Michele; and Kenneth L.
  Byrd and his wife, Michelle; a granddaughter, Melissa L. Byrd; two
  great-grandsons: Michael C. and Tyler S. Byrd, and a sister, Verna
  Burnworth, Confluence.  She was a charter member of Confluence VFW
  Post 7250 Auxiliary.  Member of Turkeyfoot Valley Baptist Church.  A
  retired employee of DeVilbiss Health Care Inc.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday,
  with the Rev. Paul Werner officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery. 
  Family suggests memorial contributions to Turkeyfoot Valley Baptist
  Church.
