Connelly. Dr. Connelly was widely known over the county and at one time had quite a lucrative practice at New Centreville. He was a man of decided ability in his profession, but the demon of intemperance got the better of him and he fell. A jury was summoned by Justice Ogle and an inquest held over the remains. The verdict was in accordance with the facts given above. While it cannot be said that Dr. Connelly was universally regretted yet all who knew him feel that it is a sad, sad ending of a life that might have been useful and honorable. At the time of his death be was in his fifty-first year. The remains were interred in the lower church yard on Wednesday.
