Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Dec 19, 1955
Harry (Yank) Custer, 65, died suddenly Friday in Somerset County. A former
resident of Ligonier, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nancy Anderson Custer;
step-mother, Mrs. Hattie Coleman, Kimmelton, Pa.; and the following children:
Dale, Somerset; Robert, Ligonier; Gerald, Derry; Mrs. Barney Haney, Somerset R.
D. 5; Mrs. Harold Shober, East Lee, Mass.; half sisters, Mrs. Grace
Eichelberger, Sipesville; Mrs. Ida Sipe, Mrs. Robert Zerfoss, both of Kimmelton;
half-brother, Paul A. Custer, Somerset. Funeral services were held today, 2 p.m.
at the Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset. Interment was made in the Husband
Cemetery, Somerset.
