  Shirley R. (Howard) Cable, 63, West Campus Avenue, Davidsville, died July 26,
  1999, at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Dec. 3, 1935, in Johnstown, daughter
  of the late Daniel W. and Ruth L. (McCutcheon) Howard.  Survived by husband,
  Dalton L.; daughter, Ruth Ann, wife of Stanley Lasky Jr., Johnstown; son
  Daniel H., married to Regina Hornick, Jerome; grandchildren: Jason, Justin
  and Jennifer Lasky; brothers: Larry, married to Joyce Custer, Aiken, S.C.,
  and David, married to Vickie King, Johnstown.  Also numerous nieces, nephews
  and friends.  Member of Riverside Grace Brethren Church, Davidsville, where
  she was a Sunday school teacher for many years.  Retired secretary for the
  business office of Conemaugh Township Area Schools, having retired in June of
  1999. Observed 45th wedding anniversary June 17, 1999.  Friends received from 7
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Road, Davidsville.  Viewing also from 10
  a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at the Riverside Grace
  Brethren Church, Pastors Ronald P. Carnevali and H. Don Rough officiating.
  Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.  Memorials may be given to
  Shirley's church, 197 Pender Road, Johnstown, Pa. 15905.
