  Albert L. Cage Jr., 62, Harrison Avenue, Somerset, died Feb. 9, 1987, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 9, 1924, in Somerset, son of Rosabelle
  (Rhoads) Cage Messenger and the late A. Lyle Cage.  Survived by mother; wife,
  JoAnn (Coleman) Cage; three daughters: Brenda Winkelman and Sara of Somerset,
  and Kristine, wife of Jerry Brown, Alliquippa, Pa.; and five grandsons: Bruce,
  Brett Jr., Daniel, Matthew and Mark. Member and trustee of Calvary United
  Methodist Church, Somerset.  Partner in D.W. Rhoads Company. Past president
  of Somerset Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.  Member of the Vo-Tech
  School Advisory Committee.  Past president Somerset Ambulance Association.
  Past president Somerset Chamber of Commerce.  Member of Arbutus Park
  Retirement Community Board.  Member of the Union Cemetery Association.
  Director U.S. National Bank.  Life member Somerset Vol. Fire Dept.  Member of
  Somerset Lodge 358 F&AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Altoona and Jaffa
  Temple, Altoona. Past president of SAR.  Member of Somerset Post 554 VFW.
  Served in World War II, 71st Evacuation Hospital, overseas.  Friends will be
  received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home.  Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Calvary United Methodist
  Church, the Rev. Harry C. Sherry and the Rev. Gene Sellers officiating.
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Body will lie in state in the
  church from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers,
  memorials may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church or the American
  Cancer Society.
