  CALDRONE 
  
  Alpharetta L. Caldrone, 82, of Friedens, died Oct. 15, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital. Born April 11, 1921 in Barnesboro, she is the daughter of the late
  William J. and Thelma L. (Harwood) Gastley. Also preceded in death by
  husband, Peter V. Caldrone, sisters: Martha Cramer, Betty Leverknight and
  Vivian McCauliff; and brothers William J., Fredrick and Charles Gastley.
  Survived by daughters, Mrs. Vernon "Mick" (Josette) Mickey of Friedens, and
  Mrs. David (Susan) Willey of Johnstown. Granddaughter, Kimberly Mayak and
  great-grandchild Bryce Mayak. Sister of Harry Gastley of Kentucky and
  Benjamin Gastley of Somerset. Member of St. Peters Catholic Church. Friends
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Peters Catholic
  Church; Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli celebrant. Committal in Mt. Carmel
  Cemetery. Wake services will be held at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in the funeral
  home. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box
