Caldrone, 64, of Rebecca Street, Somerset, died June 23, 1983, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born July 10, 1918, in Jenner Township, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Parisi) Calderone. Survived by his wife, the former Alpharetta Gastley, and these children: Mrs. Vernon (Josette) Mickey, Listie; Susan Calderone, fiancee of David Willey, Johnstown; granddaughter, Kimberly Mickey. Brother of: Mrs. Mamie Donia and Mrs. Albert (Carmella) Singo, both of Kenneth Square, Pa.; Frank, of Thomas, W.Va.; Mrs. Theodore (Kathryn) Plazzie, Grey; Samuel, Listie; Adam, and Mrs. Anthony (Josephine) Kulka, both of Boswell; Mrs. Samuel (Rose) Lamonica. Member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church; VFW; Shopman's Local 527; veteran of World War II; and a retiree from Somerset Foundry and Machine Co. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's, with the Rev. Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Family requests contributions to the heart fund.
