  WALTRUDE M. CALDWELL
  
  Waltrude M. Caldwell, 87 [sic] of Grantsville, Md., died April 16, 1988, in
  Frostburg Community Hospital, Md.
  Born in Garrett County, Md., July 12, 1901, she was the daughter of the late
  Thomas J. and Maude (Pulliam) Johnson.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Caldwell, in 1976.
  She was a registered nurse retired from Columbia Hospital, Washington, after
  50 years of service. She was also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church,
  Frostburg, Md.; and the Martha Washington chapter of the Daughters of the
  American Revolution.
  Survivors include one brother, Richard D. Johnson, Frostburg, Md.; four
  sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Graham, Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. Julia Sites, Laurel, Md.; Mrs.
  Elizabeth Binkley, Hyattsville, Md.; and Mrs. Virginia Elliott with whom she
  resided; and a number of nieces and nephews.
  Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg where services
  were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Michael W. Ellis.
  Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
  Pallbearers were Lawrence Minnick, Vernon Robeson, Charles Eberly, Francis
  Cunningham, Robert Bender, and Lynn Lais.
