  MIRIAM CALLAHAN
  
  Miriam T. Callahan, 80, Somerset, died Dec. 30, 1992, at Somerset Patriot
  Manor.
  She was born on Nov. 23, 1912, in Elk Lick Township, a daughter of the late
  Jacob Howard and Mary (Sauter) Tipton.
  She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas, and brothers: Charles and
  Howard Tipton.
  She is survived by these children: Mrs. Agnes L. Mimna, Somerset RD 5 and
  Charles H. Callahan of Somerset; also seven grandchildren and 15
  great-grandchildren.
  She was a sister of James R. Tipton of Somerset.
  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a retried food
  service worker from the Somerset State Hospital, 1932 graduate of
  Hooversville High School.
  Friends were received Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where
  service was held Saturday, with Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.
  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
