Campbell, 67, Rockwood, died July 2, 1982, in the Somerset Community Hospital as the result of an automobile accident. He was born April 14, 1915 in Missouri. He was a son of Nova and Georgia (Sportsman) Campbell. He is survived by two sons, William Edward, Friedens, and Loren David, Rockwood, eight daughters, Mrs. Hale (Marilyn) Anderson, Fairsburn, Ga., Mrs. Clark (Elleen) Rugg, Somerset, Mrs. Edward (Marjorie) Rubner, Hooversville, Lorene Sheets, Evansville, Ind., Nola J. Miller Campbell, Greensburg, Melba Campbell, Indian Lake; Novita Campbell, Greensburg; Melony Campbell, Rockwood, and by one sister, Neva Anderson, Linneus, Mo.; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Robey) Campbell July 11, 1966. He was a WW II veteran serving with the U.S. Army; a retired truck driver for Spector Freight and a member of the Teamsters Union Local 453. Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where services were conducted with the Rev. Hale Anderson officiating. Interment to follow in the Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. The Republic, July 8, 1982 [C0065]
