  MARTHA CAMPBELL
  
    Mrs. Martha (Bruce) Campbell, aged 87 years, widow of William Campbell, died 
  at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the residence of her son, James B. Campbell, in 
  Meyersdale.  Her death was caused by paralysis.
    She was born on July 18, 1843, in Scotland and came to this country 29 years 
  ago.  Her husband preceded her to the grave in 1901.  She is survived by three 
  sons, James B., mentioned above, who is Chief of Police of Meyersdale; William, 
  of Scotland, and Lewis S., of Seattle, Wash.  She also leaves 19 grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this (Thursday) afternoon at the 
  residence of her son.  Rev. Willis E. Ronk, pastor of the Main Street Brethren 
  Church, conducted the obsequies.  W. C. Price was the funeral director in 
  charge.
