  CANE
  
  Jennie K. Cane, 69, of 1760 Slaterville Road, Ithica, N.Y. died Wednesday at
  Tompkins Community Hospital. She was born in Iuka, Miss., daughter of the
  late Milton and EIiabeth M. Kent. She was the widow of James Cane, who died
  in 1969. She was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and had retired
  from the purchasing department of the United States Government. Survived by
  daughter, Paula Madey of Ithica; two sons: William E. Cane of St. Louis, Mo.,
  and George of Dryden, N.Y.; one granddaughter; one sister, Elaine Newman of
  Gunnison, Miss.; five brothers: Lendell of Paris, Tenn.; Emmett of Rosedale,
  Miss.; Lemoine of Calif.; Orville of RosedaIe, Miss.; Autry of Colorado,
  several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son James Cane in 1971.
  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Bangs Funeral Home,
  Ithica, N.Y. with Rev. Christopher Linsle officiating. Burial will be
  private. Calling hours at the funeral home Friday 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations
  may be made to the polio foundation.
