  CANNON
  
  Byron E. Cannon, 71, of Meyersdale died Jan. 24, 2000 at Meyersdale Medical
  Center.  He was born Aug. 21, 1928 in Sand Patch.  A son of the late William
  and Jeanetta (Secrest) Cannon.  He was preceded in death by a son George.  He
  is survived by his widow Louise (Schilo) Cannon and these children: David
  Earl and his wife Nancy of Transfer, Pa.; William and his wife Kathy of
  Berlin; Deborah, wife of Steven Miaheiser of Plantation, Fla., and Judy wife
  of William Grace of Somerset.  12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
  Also a sister Barbara Harris of Meyersdale.  He was retired employee of PPG,
  Cumberland.  Member of the LOOM Meyersdale, Maple Leaf Rod and Gun Club.  He
  enjoyed hunting and fishing.  A veteran of the U.S. Army.  Friends will be
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Leckemby Funeral Home where the
  funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Bruce Ashlock
  officiating.  Interment, White Oak Cemetery.
