  CANNON
  
  Henry H. Cannon, 67, Confluence RD 1, died March 1, 1993, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 28, 1925, in Woodland, Ala, son of the late Albert B.
  and Nora (Pope) Cannon.  Survived by wife, Clara (Rush) Cannon; a brother,
  Ocie Lee Cannon, Casseta, Ala.; two sisters, Louise Butler, Roanoke, Ala.,
  and Barbara Dillard, Columbia, S.C.; also nieces and nephews.  Retired from
  the U.S. Navy in 1965 after 20 years service.  A life member of Confluence VFW
  Post 7250 and the Disabled American Veterans.  Also a member of Ursina American
  Legion Post 946, the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association and the International
  Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.  Friends received from 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. John
  Snyder officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
