Born Feb. 16, 1929 in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Michael and Elsie (Ferris) Cantwell. Also preceded in death by his wife, Marian I. (Hersch) Cantwell. Survived by these children: Geni Cantwell, New Castle, Del., Mark Cantwell, Boyds, Md., Michael Cantwell, Boyds, Md., Star Marconi, Mt. Airy, Md., Carleen Delawder,Thurmont, Md., Walter Lee Cantwell, Monrovia, Md., and Tracy Cantwell, Richmond, Va. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A veteran of the U.S. Navy. Friends will be received from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m., Monday, at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. The Very Rev. James M. Dugan, VF, will officiate.
