Cappo Jr., 70, of Poverty Hollow Road, Somerset passed on Sept. 30, 2002, at Somerset Hospital. Born June 3, 1932, in Vandergrift. Son of the late James Sr. and Rose Marie (Pilisari) Cappo. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Jean Luczak and stepbrothers Charles, Franklin, Ira and Gene Brant. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Rosie (Morelli) Cappo and sister Mary Ann Vestrand of New Kensington. He was a retired employee of Casselman Enterprises and was formerly employed by Brant Coal Co., both of Somerset. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was a member of the Trent Rod and Gun Club and the Laurel Rocks Hunting Club in Rockwood. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment St. John's Cemetery in Somerset.
