  Hubert Aloysius "Bill" Carey, 85, Rockwood, died May 22, 1997, at Siemon
  Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset.  Born Aug. 19, 1911, in Meyersdale.  Son of
  the late Thomas Edward and Edna Dale (Dayton) Carey.  Also preceded in death
  by brother, Raymond Carey, and sister, Eddythe Leazier.  Survived by wife, the
  former Grace Irene Shaulis, to whom he was married for 58 years. Brother of
  Sara Weigle of Berlin and Ethlyn Ringer of Somerset.  1929 graduate Somerset
  High School.  World War II Army veteran.  Pump station operator for Somerset
  Borough, retiring in 1977.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted
  at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may he made to
  Somerset "In Touch" Hospice. 651 5. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
