  CAREY
  
  John D. Carey, 74, of Ravenna, Ohio, formerly of Somerset, died March 5,
  1974, in Ravenna.  Born in Meyersdale on May 14, 1899, a son of John and
  Rebecca (Darrah) Carey.  Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathleen
  Purcell Carey; one brother and one sister.  He is survived by these children:
  Robert, Ravenna, Ohio; John, Patrick, Edward and Mrs. Ann Matus, all of
  Arcadia, Calif.; these brothers and sisters: Leon, Joe, Mrs. Helen Schrock,
  Miss Marguarette and Mrs. Herbert Gnagy, all of Somerset; Mrs. John J.
  Brennan, Willingboro, N.J.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today, Friday, in Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home, where Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m.  Funeral Mass,
  Saturday, 10 a.m., in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. Father
  Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
