Carolus, 60, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died Sept, 2, 2000, from injuries sustained in an accident. Born Jan. 3, 1940 in Berlin, daughter of Merle and Bertha (Sweitzer) Vought. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roger W. Carolus, to whom she married in Frostburg, Md., Sept. 29, 1958, on Feb. 12, 2000. Survivors include her children, Roger W. (Helen) Carolus Jr. of Oak Harbor, Peggy Sue (Cameron) Druyor of St. Juliet, Tenn., Bradley S. (Marney) Carolus of Sandusky, Ohio, Beth Ann (Joey) Arbogast of New Riegel, Ohio, Lee H. Carolus of Port Clinton; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (John) Tateleba, Joyce (Dick) Hay, and brothers, Glenn (Betty) Vought and Barry Vought, all of Berlin. Rosetta operated her own cleaning business, working in private residences mostly in the Lakeside area. She was a member of the Alliance Chapel in Oak Harbor, Ohio and was a member of the Alliance Women Alive group at church. She was a former Sunday school teacher and when her children were young, she was a den mother and a Scout leader for the Boy Scouts. Visitation from 9 a.m. Wednesday, until the time of services at 11 a.m. in the Alliance Chapel, 11805 W. St. Rt. 105, Oak Harbor, Ohio. Interment, Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorials are suggested to the family. The Rohinson-Henn-Rossia Funeral Home, 165 E. Water Street, Oak Harbor, Ohio, is assisting the family with arrangements.
