  CAROUSE
  
  Helen M. Carouse, 86, of Meyersdale, died June 28, 2001, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Aug. 2, 1914, in Meyersdale.  A daughter of the late Albert
  and Sarah (Herwig) Gauntz.  Also preceded in death by her husband, Guido L.
  Carouse; a son, Louis N. Carouse; two brothers, Melvin and Donald; and
  sister Dorothy Stern.  Survived by her son, Robert E. Carouse, and his wife
  Marilyn, Garrett Shortcut Road, Berlin; and daughter-in-law Joan A.
  Carouse, Brecksville, Ohio.  Also seven grandchildren and 10
  great-grandchildren.  A member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale.
  Retired from Meyersdale Manufacturing Co. with 27 years of service.  Friends
  will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, with
  the Rev. Glenn P. Foster officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery,
  Meyersdale.  Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale,
  or the Meyersdale Public Library.
