  EDWARD CARPENTER
  
  Edward Joseph Carpenter, 70, Markleton, died Oct. 31, at his home.
  Born July 19, 1896, he was a son of Charles and Delta (Evans) Carpenter.
  Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Keener, Akron; and these
  stepchildren: Leroy Nichalos, Warren, Ohio; and Mrs. Mary Weimer, Silver
  Lakes, Ohio.
  He was a brother of Ray Carpenter, Rockwood RD 1; Lee, Cumberland; Mrs.
  Nellie M., Horchner, Meyersdale; Mrs. Nettie Calbert, Morgantown, W. Va.;
  and Mrs. Eva Catherine Frye, Dunbar.
  Funeral service was held Wednesday at the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, with Rev. Evelyn Stillwagon officiating.  Interment was made in
  IOOF cemetery.
