(Bridegum) Carpenter, 49 years old, a former resident of Carlisle, widow of T. Bishop Carpenter, died at 10 o'clock Wednesday evening, December 7th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Saler, of Greensburg, with whom she had made her home since the death of her husband two years ago. A short service was held at 7:30 o'clock Friday evening in the chapel of the H. S. Coshey & Sons' funeral home in Greensburg, Rev. Virgil Elliott, pastor of the First Christian Church, of which Mrs. Carpenter was a member, having charge of the services. Interment was made in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Somerset County. Meyersdale Republican, December 15, 1932
