  Elaine E. Carroll, 90, Jennerstown, passed on Oct. 1, 2005, at Somerset
  Hospital. Born May 8, 1915, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late
  Charles and Fannie (Cober) Forespring. She is preceded in death by her parents
  and brother, Charles Forespring Jr. She is survived by her husband of 21 years,
  Harry "Bud" Carroll, Jennerstown; daughter, Gloria Ann Decker and husband,
  Daniel, Pultneyville, N.Y.; grandchildren, Dr. Jill Decker and husband,
  Christian Ogden, Longmont, Colo.; Elizabeth Schwartz and husband, Andrew,
  Oceanside, Calif.; and Noah Decker, Burlington, Vt.; great-grandchildren,
  Isabella and Elias Ogden and Daniel and Drew Schwartz; sister, Carolyn
  Deardorff and Eleanor Wisor, both of Johnstown; brother, Jack Forespring,
  Greensburg; and stepson, David Carroll and wife, Ruth, Jennerstown. She was a
  former co-owner of the Casa Nova Restaurant in Jenner Township and was a member
  of All Saints Catholic Church in Boswell. She was an expert seamstress who also
  enjoyed knitting and crocheting for her family and friends. Following a private
  family visitation, a funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St.
  Peter's Church, Somerset. The Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli celebrant. Interment,
  Jenner Crossroads Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
  sent to the American Heart Association, 400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, PA 15901.
