LEONA CARTER

  Leona Carter, 19-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Carter, died Monday 
at the parental home, in Garrett, from a complication of ailments.
  She is survived by her parents and the following brothers and sisters: 
William, Charlotte, George, Ruth and Walter, all at home; also by her 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Carter of Meyersdale.
  The body was prepared for burial by Undertaker W. C. Price.   Funeral services 
were held, Wednesday, in the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett, the former 
pastor, Rev. S. F. Tholan, officiating.  Interment was made in Highland 
Cemetery, Garrett.
