Carter, 91, died April 14, 2005, in the Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls. Born Nov. 3, 1913, in Garrett, he is the son of the late George and Carrie Carter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Mary Kimble Carter; a daughter and son-in-law, Joeene and Robert Magliocca, Beaver Falls; a son and daughter-in-law, William K. and Mary Louise Carter, Crabtree; grandchildren, Renee and Michael McCormick, East Palestine, Ohio; Neil Magliocca and his wife Chenoa, Rochester; Craig and his wife Shari Carter, Irvin; and Kara and Thomas Storch, of Irwin, four great-grandchildren, and a sister Charlotte Zeller, Frostburg, Md. He was a member of the Mount Olive Lutheran Church, had retired from the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Co. with 35 years of service. He had been the first police chief for the Borough of Big Beaver, a member of the Parian Lodge No. 662, Beaver Falls. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801 4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held 11 a.m Saturday. The Rev. John L. Pingel officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m
