  Donald Paul Caruthers, 62, of PuffÕs Court Drive, Springs, PA, died
  Thursday, June 3, 2004, at his residence.
  Born November 3, 1941, in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Elvin P. and
  Edith Mae (Beitzel) Caruthers.
  Mr. Caruthers was retired from Penn Alps Restaurant, Grantsville, Md. He
  was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God,
  Grantsville.
  Surviving are his wife, Thelma Jean (Bittinger) Caruthers; three sons:
  Derrick Paul Caruthers, Dover, Del.; Robert James Caruthers, Kansas City,
  Mo.; Jason Steven Caruthers, at home; one daughter, Jeannette Suzanne
  Caruthers, Springs; two brothers: Jack M. Caruthers, Grantsville; David K.
  Caruthers, Oakland, Md.; two sisters: Sharon Lohr, Swanton, Md.; Catherine
  Williams, Accident, Md.
  A memorial service was conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 7, at Maranatha
  Assembly of God with the Rev. William Ferguson officiating. 
  Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, was in charge of arrangements.
