Carver, 74, of Berlin RD 1 died Jan. 10, 1977. He was born Jan. 11, 1902, in Brothersvalley Township, the son of the late Jacob and Lizzie (Walker) Carver. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Altha Hoffman, an infant son, one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his second wife, the former Florence Lichty, two daughters: Mrs. Raymond (Violet) Murphy of State College; Mrs. David (Phyllis) Duppstadt of Meyersdale, three grandsons and a brother Russell of Sunbury. He was a member of the Roxbury United Church of Christ and a past deacon. Also, member of Oddfellow Lodge 481 and Mountain Field and Stream Club. He was a township supervisor and Berlin Brothersvalley school board member for many years. Friends were received in the Johnson and Son Funeral Home. Other arrangements are incomplete.
