LIZZIE CARVER

  Berlin, Sept. 8 - Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Carver, aged 55 years, who 
passed away last Friday morning, were held at the Reformed Church at Roxbury, 
Sunday afternoon.  Mrs. Carver died at the Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, 
following a surgical operation.  The immediate cause of her death was attributed 
to heart failure.  Rev. H. D. Gress officiated at the services.  Burial was made 
in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, by Johnson & Son, funeral directors.
  The deceased is survived by the following children:  Clarence and Russell 
Carver, at home, and Alvin Carver, Berlin; also the following brothers and 
sisters: Frank Walker, Stonycreek Township; Mrs. I. G. Carver, Stonycreek 
Township; Mrs. Minnie Ringler, Berlin; Mrs. Simon Sweitzer, Brothersvalley 
Township; Mrs. Ida Nicholson, Somerset; G. Wesley Walker, Stonycreek Township; 
Mrs. Charles Miller, Friedens.
